Thyme is on the Move | Ashurst Group

The Realtors at Ashurst & Niemeyer have noticed a few changes going on next door to our downtown office.  We’ve heard some hammering and have seen workers streaming in and out.  We had to find out what was going on – and we did!  It’s Thyme By the Bay’s new location.  Currently, this quaint little restaurant is located on Scenic Hwy 98 in Fairhope.  If you’ve eaten there, you know how good the food is, but also how hard it is to park.  There’s just not a lot of space.  The owners decided to move to a new location at 33 N. Section Street, right beside Ashurst & Niemeyer Real Estate.  They will not be keeping the original location near the bay.

After speaking with the very kind owners, Rachael and Adrian, I learned that they have great plans for the new spacious location.  They will incorporate a full bar, a bigger menu, and more hours while maintaining a casual atmosphere.  The menu will include steaks, fresh local seafood, and small plates as well.  Their unique bar drinks will feature infused liquors and cocktails using fresh local fruits.

Hours:    Tuesday – Thursday   11-9       Friday – Sunday 11-10
