So many cabinet choices!!! Which do you like best?

As much as I love all of the look of the open shelves and glass door cabinets, I’m afraid I could not pull them off. My dishes and glasses just aren’t that pretty!  While I do have a set of pretty white dishes, I also have my cobalt blue dishes from 20 years ago.  There are also a few odd plates here and there that wound up with me over the years.

My glasses come in a bigger variety – I have etched glass ones my 17 year old son likes that no one else will use (a gift from a family member), the one my 14 year old son prefers that has a college logo (plastic no less), and the “normal” ones my husband and I use.  Even if I did have beautifully coordinating glasses and plates, they would never look like the pictures above.  It is my 14 and 17 year old boys’ job to empty the dishwasher.  You can imagine they aren’t put up in a pretty pattern.

It’s great that designers have come up with so many fun ways to organize our kitchens.  Maybe one day I can venture away from a solid cabinet door!  Let us know which one you prefer in our comments section.  And as always, have a look around on our website AshurstGroup.com. We’d love to help you find a house with the perfect cabinets for you.
